WOW!!!!! these are great news... I was hopping New Moon was on IMAX but if Eclipse will be on it then I am happy.. that is an incredible way to watch a movie.. I love it!!!! oh wow, I will have to start saving from now if I want to go "several" times to the theater.. I saw NM 6 times but IMAX is more expensive but it is worth to watch it there.. tongue.gif iluvtwilight.gif

I am so freakin pumped! I've passed this on to my crew and told them they now have plenty of notice of how much it's gonna cost. Hell, I'll go by myself if they don't wanna come off the extra cash. lol

What's the difference between regular & IMAX? My rinky-dink area doesn't have such "high tech" choices. In fact, any theatres are around an hour from me.

Oh the IMAX is a BIG difference! Literally! The screen is usually 72ft wide and 53ft tall and it is mega stadium seating. There is not a bad seat in the house. The sound is usually way better, too. I prefer IMAX over a regular theater any day.

We have an IMAX in our area, but don't know if they'll bring it there. I will keep my fingers crossed though.

I live in a small town too. I think the closest Imax is about an hour and a ferry ride across a lake away. Might have to talk hubby into a day trip.
